About
Education and Training
I am a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of New York, with many years of experience treating patients in the New York City area. I've worked with diverse populations of children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, such as private practice, college counseling, hospitals, and community mental health. I completed my predoctoral internship at Mount Sinai/Elmhurst Hospital Center, where I also stayed on as a staff psychologist following the completion of my training. The patients I've treated have had wide-ranging difficulties, from severe trauma and personality disorders, to mood and adjustment struggles. My varied training has helped me form a professional identity as a generalist, with a particular interest in treating issues related to identity exploration, relationship conflict, and complex trauma, and I especially love working with older adolescents and young adults. My research has focused on the impact of social media on identity development and social-emotional functioning in college students.
